Laurel started off Febuary with smiles. She smiled are the right times and loved getting others to smile as well. Sweet thing even started laughing (2/14), she got two sweet little chuckles out.
This month is the month of birthday's for my Mom's family. Mom's mom (GiGi to Laurel), Mom, her twin sister (Aunt Mary), and her brother (Uncle Steve) all have birthdays in February. Mom and GiGi came up for a Snyder women's retreat at Beaumont Inn in Harrodsburg. Dad stayed with us while the women were enjoying themselves. On the 13th (Mom and Mary's birthday) Todd, Laurel, Dad, and myself went to meet them (and the Blairs) for dinner at the resturant at Beaumont Inn. We had a great time of fellowship and food.

The next day was Valentines Day, Todd got me a delicious Edible Arrangement! Laurels gift to us was sweet laughter. Mom and Dad watched Laurel for us while we went out for a nice meal in Midway. What a blessing to have some time alone together!
One of the mornings that my folks were here, I woke up late and wondered how in the world it was so quiet in the house. I walked into Laurel's room to find my Dad and Laurel cuddled up together in the rocking chair.
On the 16th Laurel had her 2 month check up, weighing in at 10lbs 9oz (42%) and 22.75 inches long (60%).

The next weekend my post office friends threw me a baby shower complete with baby opossum cake.
